ISSA Power Inshore Skipper + VHF
The license allows you to drive the yacht with a maximum size 16 meters and maximum distance from shore 20 miles in day and night
Course Outline
At the end of the course and after passing the exam, you will receive a license ISSA POWER INSHORE SKIPPER and Log Book with the miles completed and a mark confirming that you have passed the standards.
- Key components and systems of a powerboat
- Line and spring handling
- Basic safety equipment
- Terrestrial navigation
- Electronic-based navigation
- Meteorology
- Operating the anchor
- Basic knowledge about SAR procedures (RIB, helicopter)
- Practical boat handling: docking, mooring, and anchoring technique
- Powerboat engines, fuel management and electrical systems
- The engine operation of the cooling system and oil level
- Maritime regulations and safety
- Basic knowledge about SAR procedures (RIB, helicopter)
- VHF Radio Operation
