This is a 4-hour course that gives an introduction to sailing. The course takes place in coastal waters <5 miles offshore during daylight hours in mild winds and suitable conditions.

Recommended entry-level requirements:

Experience is not required
Minimum age is 12 years old (accompanied by parents)

Scope of course

3 to 4-hour course, on board, covering theory and practical subjects

Schedule

Groupe course:
Any Wednesday, Saturday, from 9:30 till 13:30

Individual sessions:
Or any day for an Individual group up to 4 person

Our School Instructors

All school instructors have comprehensive personal background as captains and sailors, as well as teaching experience. Each instructor has ISSA accreditation.

Artem Mochalov
ISSA Instructor
An active athlete and medalist of the 2017 ORC European Championship, this individual is a multiple-time podium finisher and champion in international regattas. Serving as the President of the largest yacht club in Cyprus, the Cyprus International Sailing Club, they played a pivotal role as the organizer of the 2023 European Championship held in Limassol.

Professional commercial captain with experience in multiple transatlantic crossings on sailing yachts. Spends a minimum of 160 days at the helm each year. Enthusiastic about fishing, particularly for tuna. Enjoys leisure sailing as a hobby and occasionally indulges in competitive pursuits.
