How to start sailing in Cyprus

You have never been sailing, or have been but long ago and forgotten, or even have a license but they are covered in a thick layer of dust? Great, there are a few options for you!

Try Sailing Course
Try sailing to see if it's for you or not
This is a 4-hour course that gives an introduction to sailing. The course takes place in coastal waters <5 miles offshore during daylight hours in mild winds and suitable conditions.

At the end of the course, you will receive emotions, experience, and your first Log Book with a record of the completed miles.

ISSA YACHT CREW
A 4-day course that allows you to try all roles (bowman, pitman, helmsman, sail trimmer, tactician) and gain the necessary practical and theoretical knowledge to feel competent to crew both for leisure and regatta.

At the end of the course, you will receive ISSA Yacht Crew License and Log Book with miles completed and marked by the school.

ISSA Skipper Course
Become a Skipper
ISSA INSHORE SKIPPER Course
To become a licensed skipper and charter yachts around the world, take the ISSA INSHORE Skipper Course.

The course is 7-8 days from 9:00 to 17:00 + one day-a-night navigation with at least 30NM crossing.

At the end of the course and after passing the exam, you will receive a license ISSA INSHORE SKIPPER and Log Book with the miles completed and a mark confirming that you have passed the standards.

The license entitles you to operate the yacht up to 24 m at any time up to 20 nautical miles from the shore.
